1. Overview

Threadlight is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require an account, we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or cross-app tracking.

This policy explains what data may remain on your device and how you stay in control.

2. Information We Collect

In its current version, Threadlight does not send personal data to a remote server.

• Your tasks, notes, goals, moods, and focus sessions are stored locally on your device.
• Your interface preferences, themes, and settings are stored locally.
• Optional reminders are handled by Apple’s local notification system.

3. Local Storage

Threadlight stores data on your iPhone or iPad. You can remove this data at any time by deleting the app or through in-app reset options, if available.

If you use iCloud device backup, some local app data may be included depending on your Apple device settings.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Threadlight may request permission to send local notifications. These reminders are only used to help you return to your goals, routines, or focus sessions.

You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings or in the app’s settings.

5. App Permissions

• Notifications: for gentle reminders and focus alerts.
• Network access: not required for normal use of the app.
• User account: not required.

6. Third-Party Services

Threadlight does not use ad networks, analytics SDKs, or behavior tracking services in its current version.

If new services are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are used.

7. Security

We keep the app local-first to reduce data exposure. No system is perfectly secure, but our approach minimizes collection and transfer of personal information.

8. Children’s Privacy

Threadlight is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe information was provided inappropriately, contact us and we will help with removal.

9. Your Choices

Because data is stored locally, your main controls are simple: delete the app, turn off notifications, or clear local data through the app if that option is available.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app changes. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
